It turns out that MP from the banned OPFL party Fedir Khristenko, who left Ukraine on February 14, 2022, has settled in Poland. This is stated in his annual declaration for 2022, UNN reports with reference to Radio Liberty.

Details

The politician left Ukraine a few days before the full-scale invasion of Russia, and officially did not cross the border of Ukraine again.

According to the declaration, Khrystenko rented a 173-square-meter apartment in Poland , where he lives with his family.

In his declaration, Fedir Khrystenko noted that he rents an apartment in Poland together with his wife and daughter from the owner, a Polish citizen Maciej Drazkiewicz.

The exact address in the publicly available declaration is not specified, but it is probably a house on Sarmacka Street in the elite district of Warsaw, where, according to the Bakhmut IN.UA publication, three cars registered to Khrystenko's wife were registered in August 2022: BMW M760LI, Bentley Continental, and Porsche Cayenne. The MP also declared them.

In addition to the new rented housing in Poland, the MP indicated in his 2022 declaration that the family owns a 176-square-meter apartment in Russia with three parking spaces. This property in Moscow has been registered in the name of his wife, Maryna Khrystenko, since 2018. According to real estate websites, the estimated cost of such apartments is over 100 million rubles.

Also in 2022, Khrystenko declared only 42 thousand hryvnias of deputy salary. This can be explained by the fact that the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada called Khrystenko one of the largest "truant" MPs, which is why they stopped paying him a salary.

Addendum

In 2019, Fedir Khrystenko was elected as a member of parliament from the Opposition Platform - For Life party in the constituency in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region, which is currently partially occupied by the Russian army.

Journalists have not been able to find any public references to his work with voters in the district. After February 24, Khrystenko also did not publicly condemn Russian aggression.

As a reminder,

the NACP has provided open access to the Unified State Register of Declarations of Ukraine, with the exception of exceptions related to martial law.
