Hundreds of towns and villages have been left without power supply due to the recent snowstorm in Odesa Oblast. The regional authorities continue to do everything possible to overcome the consequences of the snowstorm and return the region to normal life as soon as possible. This was reported by the head of Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper on his tg-channel, according to UNN.

Due to the severe consequences of the bad weather that has been raging for two days, many settlements still have no electricity supply. DTEK power engineers have been repairing damaged lines for two days in a row. Services and utilities continue to clear snowdrifts from hard-to-reach areas so that power engineers can get to the accident sites as soon as possible. We have already managed to restore electricity to hundreds of towns and villages. We are doing everything we can to overcome the consequences of the snowstorm and restore normal life in the region as soon as possible. All critical infrastructure in the region is operating normally
