Mykolaiv will experience heat supply interruptions for two days. The reason is repair work caused by a hydraulic shock in the system during a blackout. This was reported by PJSC Mykolaiv CHP, UNN reports.
Several defects in the heating system have been detected due to the blackout that caused hydraulic shocks. In order to prevent further complications and ensure stable operation of the system, repair work has begun on the main main line on Lorenz Justus (Sydorchuk) Street
It is noted that a 60-meter-long section of the pipeline with a diameter of 700 mm is to be replaced. Repair work is complicated by the presence of a nearby gas pipeline, which requires additional safety measures.
“The city is temporarily experiencing a reduced and slowed circulation of heat supply. This phenomenon is temporary and is associated with repair work on key sections of the heating network. The duration of the work is approximately until 23:00 on December 19, 2024,” Mykolaivska CHPP said.
