The "Municipal Nanny" program can become a prototype for future family kindergartens, which the Ministry of Education is currently working on a system of transformation. This opinion was expressed by the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Oksana Zholnovych in an interview with Ukrainian Radio, UNN reports .

She reminded that last year the Ministry raised compensation for nannies to the level of the minimum wage. And this year, it plans to allow them to take care of up to 3 children, which can provide a decent income for providing such a service.
Unfortunately, there are not enough kindergartens, not enough places, and not enough inclusive places. Therefore, we still see the logic in using such a service as the Municipal Nanny
She added: "Today, almost all social benefits are financed by our partners. And for them, targeting and efficiency of social services is very important.
The Ministry of Education is working on a whole system of transformation of kindergartens, including such family things. I think that our Municipal Nanny can become a prototype for the future family kindergarten. ... Unfortunately, kindergartens do not cover the full need for childcare. Especially if it is a child with a disability. Unfortunately, there are not enough kindergartens, not enough places, and not enough inclusive places. Therefore, we still see the logic in using such a service as "Municipal Nanny".
