Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko spoke online about the security situation in Ukraine, in particular about mine safety and the resources involved in eliminating the consequences of Russian aggression, during a meeting with the ministers of internal affairs and security of the Group of Seven in Japan. Thus, the issue of mine danger was considered. According to Ihor Klymenko, more than 1600 square kilometers have already been surveyed. However, even after the territory has been cleared, it is not completely safe, as the enemy re-attacks most of the de-occupied regions.
Therefore, the Interior Minister emphasized that in order to solve this problem, Ukraine needs the help of international partners, in particular in the provision of mechanized demining machines.
In addition, the Interior Minister briefed his colleagues on the security situation at the state border, the development of a network of invincibility points and security centers, and measures to prevent and respond to domestic violence.
