Kuleba to hold trilateral talks with Foreign Ministers of Moldova and Romania tomorrow: details

Tomorrow, July 5, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will visit Moldova to meet with Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popschi and Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita Odobescu. The parties plan to discuss Ukraine's and Moldova's accession to the EU, the development of cooperation between the three countries, and following the talks will sign a memorandum of understanding between the foreign ministries on countering disinformation. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, UNN reports.

On July 5, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will visit Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. In the Moldovan capital, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister will hold trilateral talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Mihai Popschi and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Luminita Odobescu

The Foreign Ministry notes that the talks will follow up on the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania on September 15, 2022, in Odesa, which launched this trilateral format of cooperation.

"The key topics of the talks will be strengthening cooperation in the Ukraine-Moldova-Romania triangle, Ukraine's and Moldova's accession to the EU, development of cooperation between the three countries in the fields of energy, infrastructure and transport, in particular in the context of Ukraine's recovery, strengthening the energy system of our country and the region as a whole, development of border infrastructure and export of Ukrainian agricultural products," the Foreign Ministry added.

The parties will also discuss closer cooperation between the three countries in countering disinformation, foreign information manipulation and interference, and attempts to destabilize the region.

"Following the talks, a joint ministerial statement and a memorandum of understanding between the foreign ministries of the three countries on countering disinformation are planned to be signed," the ministry summarized.

Yesterday, Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz. The parties discussed cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on a number of regional and global threats.
