Ukraine marked the 10th anniversary of the creation of the KORD special unit. On the occasion of the professional holiday, heads of the National Police in various regions congratulated the fighters of the unit and presented them with state and departmental awards, reports UNN with reference to the National Police.

The awards were received by special forces who made a significant contribution to ensuring law and order, conscientiously performed their official duties and took part in countering Russian aggression.
The National Police emphasized that for ten years KORD has remained a symbol of professionalism, endurance and determination. After the start of the full-scale war, special forces perform a wide range of combat missions.
In particular, the unit's fighters take part in combat operations, conduct aerial reconnaissance, destroy enemy personnel and equipment, counter enemy drones, and also ensure the protection of the civilian population and critical infrastructure.
The National Police thanked the KORD fighters for their courage, professionalism and selfless service, congratulating them on the 10th anniversary of the unit's creation.
