He clarified that the city and regional authorities are actively working to free up more electricity for the residents of Odesa region. After all, even imports from Romania do not help meet the region's needs.
"Today we import a lot of electricity.
I found out that if you buy electricity in Hungary and bring it through Zakarpattia, it is technically very difficult to get it to Odesa.
We are installing a lot of gas piston units in Odesa to close boiler houses and other stations that people need. We want to reduce electricity consumption and provide more to the population," he said.
