On the night of May 12, Russian troops again attacked the Kyiv region with strike drones. In the Fastiv district, a kindergarten, a multi-story building, and private houses were damaged. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, according to UNN.

According to him, the attack caused a roof fire at the kindergarten. Windows were also blown out in a nearby four-story residential building. In addition, two private houses sustained damage.
Kalashnyk noted that there were no casualties among the population. Rescuers and other emergency services are working on-site; the cleanup of the attack's aftermath and the documentation of the destruction are ongoing.
