Due to low visibility, experts recommend that drivers follow the following tips when driving in fog::
reduce your driving speed;
if there are fog lights, turn them on together with the low beam;
keep a safe distance from other vehicles;
when stopping, turn on the emergency light alarm;
avoid sudden maneuvers on the road.
Also, pedestrians are urged to be careful, if possible choose light clothing, wear reflective elements – flickers to be visible to drivers during fog and in the dark.
Recall
According to a survey by the Ministry of internal affairs, 31% of parents admitthat their children do not wear reflective elements. Last winter, there were more than 4,500 road accidents, of which 486 were involving children.
