Japan and the United States have signed agreements to strengthen security and military cooperation. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

During a meeting at the White House, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and U.S. President Joe Biden announced the modernization of the military alliance between the two countries.
The countries' plans include the joint development of defense equipment and the creation of new military command systems to improve interoperability and planning in peacetime and in emergency situations.
Both sides also plan to modernize defense communications networks and work together on air defense to combat air threats.

An important part of the agreements is the creation of a working group for fighter pilot training, including AI and advanced simulators, as well as the joint development and production of jet trainers.
