Iran threatens to enrich uranium to 90% in the event of a repeated attack on the country. Benjamin Netanyahu insists on the complete removal of nuclear materials from Iran.

Iran could enrich uranium to weapons-grade levels in the event of an attack, warned senior Iranian lawmaker Ebrahim Rezaei, UNN reports, citing The Guardian.

Iran, which insists on the peaceful nature of its nuclear program, has reportedly not yet handed over more than 400 kg of uranium enriched to 60%, which is a small technical step away from the 90% weapons-grade level.

Now that it appears the U.S. may resume its war, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, warned that Iran could enrich uranium to 90% purity in the event of another attack.

"One of Iran's options in the event of another attack could be 90 percent enrichment. We will consider this issue in parliament," Rezaei posted on X.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the war with Iran will continue as long as the country possesses a stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

"It's not over yet because there is still nuclear material from Iran – enriched uranium – that needs to be removed. There are still enrichment facilities that need to be dismantled," he said on CBS. When asked how it should be removed, Netanyahu replied: "You go in and take it out."
