Thus, defenders of the country can participate in the state program eOselya. The 3% annual interest rate is compensated from the regional budget, but only for loans under the eOselya program, and only for certain categories of borrowers.

"This program applies not only to military personnel, but also to the military of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Security Service, the Special Operations Forces, the State Border Guard Service, and also to police officers and rank-and-file and senior officers of the State Emergency Service," comments Oleksiy Dmytrenko, director of the Department of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning at the regional state administration.

Three state institutions - Oschadbank, PrivatBank, and Ukrzagbank - have already signed an agreement on compensation payments with the regional state administration.

The main requirements for a preferential mortgage are as follows: the apartment must be 51 square meters per borrower plus 21 square meters for each family member; the house must be built no later than 10 years ago; the borrower must be registered in Odesa region or in the city of Odesa, and the property must be located in Odesa region.
