A detachment of warships from Russia's Pacific Fleet has entered the Indonesian port of Surabaya to begin joint naval exercises with Indonesia in the Java Sea.
According to the Indonesian Navy, Russia has sent three corvettes, a tanker and a tugboat. The military exercises will take place for 5 days in the Java Sea and on the territory of the Surabaya naval base.
