In Ukraine, investment projects in road infrastructure are being prepared, including the renovation of 196 km of roads. The construction of the northern bypass of Lviv and 10 service areas is also planned.

Ukraine is preparing to implement a large-scale list of investment projects in road infrastructure. This involves the construction and expansion of highways, the creation of ten modern service areas, and the installation of 35 automated weigh-in-motion (WIM) systems in 11 regions. This was reported by Vice Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine - Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba, writes UNN.

It is noted that the total investment potential for just three key road projects amounts to over $1.2 billion. Among the priority areas, the official named the renovation of 196 kilometers of roads from Lviv to the checkpoints Rava-Ruska, Krakivets, and Shehyni, as well as 128.3 kilometers of the Yahodyn - Kovel - Lutsk route.

In addition, the plans include the construction of a northern bypass of Lviv, 23.2 kilometers long, which will allow transit traffic to be routed outside the city.

Specialists are also preparing projects for the construction of ten modern service areas on international highways and the installation of 35 WIM systems, which will protect roads from destruction by overloaded vehicles, ensure fair conditions for carriers, and strengthen logistics corridors.
