In just over a day, 17 people, including nine children, have died in the waters of Ukraine. Another four people, including three children, are currently being searched for in three regions of the country. This was announced during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine by Viktor Vitovetsky, Director of the Department of Civil Protection and Preventive Activities of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as reported by UNN.

According to the State Emergency Service, tragic incidents occurred in 12 regions of Ukraine: Volyn, Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv.
