According to unofficial information, the attacker was from Uzbekistan and was carrying a backpack from a home delivery company. The injured teenagers probably suffered wounds to their arms and stomach. They were accompanied by their peers who were not injured.
While walking with the children, rescuer Marcin Borkowski, known as Borkosz, was at the scene and provided first aid to the victims. Borkosz, a former paramedic, had been driving an ambulance for 30 years.
According to the information, the attacker lost his belongings - a phone, a hat, a pack of cigarettes and the keys to the apartment - while fleeing. As a result, police detained the 26-year-old man an hour after the incident. He is currently in police custody.
