In October, Ukrainians purchased more than 5.8 thousand new passenger cars, which is 1% more than in October last year. Compared to September 2024, consumer activity in the new car market increased by 2%.
The leader was the French brand RENAULT, which sold 775 cars. Moreover, 749 of them were RENAULT Duster crossovers, which thus became the most popular car of the month.
TOYOTA took the second place with 679 cars sold, and SKODA took the third place with 402 cars.
The top five also includes BMW (397 cars) and VOLKSWAGEN (363 cars).
In total, 58.8 thousand new cars have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the year, which is 19% more than in the same period last year.
Recall
Earlier, Ukravtoprom reportedthat 215.6 thousand passenger cars (new and used) were imported to Ukraine from January to August. This is 15% more than in the same period in 2023.
