In the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan, a man attacked a bus driver while she was traveling, causing the vehicle to lose control and drive into a crowd of people standing at a bus stop. At least three people have been reported dead and four injured. This was reported by UNN with reference to Russian media.

According to eyewitnesses, one of the passengers attacked the female driver, and she lost consciousness. After that, the bus crashed into people at a bus stop and collided with four foreign cars.

Two of the victims were diagnosed with fractures of the hip and left foot. The woman who was driving the bus suffered a closed head injury and a concussion.

The passenger who attacked the driver was detained. The police launched an investigation under the Criminal Code articles "Hooliganism" and "Violation of the rules ensuring the safe operation of transport, which caused the death of two or more people".
