The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on Friday that it had destroyed several tunnels in the area of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City and completed "operational preparations" ahead of the agreed ceasefire, UNN reports.

According to the IDF statement, the Israeli military destroyed "an underground tunnel route and a number of tunnel mines in the vicinity of Shifa Hospital."
"The IDF has completed operational preparations in accordance with the paused battle lines," the statement said.
The statement added that Israeli forces continued to strike targets "during the last day and night" before the ceasefire, without specifying the number of attacks.
