The Russian invaders declare the seized real estate of Ukrainians in the occupied territories under Russian law. Since the beginning of April, the Russians have "recognized" 60 apartments and houses in Melitopol, which they seized, as homeless. Fedorov noted that in order to prove the right to their property, Melitopol residents need to come to the occupied city with title documents and have a Russian passport with them. However, at the same time, Russia is doing everything possible to prevent as many people as possible from getting to the TOT.
It is noted that Russians do not accept powers of attorney for real estate transactions. They recognize only those executed between citizens of the Russian Federation and in the territory of the Russian Federation.
The occupiers declare that real estate registration under Russian law will last until 2028. However, local collaborators are speeding up the so-called inventory to squeeze as much property as possible from the owners who have left.
