Roksolana Pidlasa, chairwoman of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, was trapped in the snow on the Kyiv-Odesa highway. The road is blocked due to unfavorable weather conditions, and numerous cars are stuck after drivers ignored warnings.

The head of the Verkhovna Rada Budget Committee, Roksolana Pidlasa, is stuck in snowdrifts on the Kyiv-Odesa highway, UNN reports .

Despite the traffic ban and the available information about the closure of the Kyiv-Odesa highway, the MP headed towards Odesa. Five hours ago, Pidlasa posted a photo of her trip from the blocked highway on her FB page.

Yesterday it became known that the Kyiv-Odesa highway was blocked due to the weather. The ban on traffic on this road has not yet been lifted.

According to rescuers, a significant number of vehicles have been stuck in snowdrifts since yesterday because drivers ignored warnings about the weather and the ban on traffic on the highways.

In particular, we are talking about the Istanbul-Odesa bus, which yesterday got stuck in a snow trap due to the driver's amateurishness, who decided to "bypass" the prohibited passage, and ended up stuck in the middle of the road for half a day with people and children. According to the State Emergency Service, since yesterday, rescuers have pulled out 18 such buses.
