Half of the 74 battles on the front today occurred in two directions - the Sloviansk and Pokrovsk directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a statement at 4:00 p.m. on July 11, UNN writes.
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 74 times
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, the settlements of Korenok, Neskuchne, Volfyne, Yastrubshchyna, Bachivsk, Potapivka, Tovstodubove, and Hirky in Sumy region; Hati in Chernihiv region were affected. The enemy also launched airstrikes on the city of Sumy.
Situation by directions
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, one combat engagement with the enemy took place. At the same time, the occupiers carried out 39 shellings of the positions of our troops and settlements, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, three assault actions by the invaders were recorded in the areas of Lyman, Hryhorivka, and Kolodiazhne, with two combat engagements ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders successfully repelled two attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Petropavlivka and Podoly.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to advance five times in the areas of Druzheliubivka, Stavky, and Dibrova, with one combat engagement ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, 19 attacks by the occupiers were recorded in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka, with one combat engagement ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked our positions seven times in the areas of Fedorivka Druha, Malynivka, and Nykyforivka, with one combat engagement ongoing.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders tried to break through the defense eight times in the areas of Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Rusynyi Yar, with one combat engagement ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, 18 attempts by the occupiers to push our soldiers from their positions have been recorded in the areas of Kucherovyi Yar, Shakhove, Sofiivka, Bilytske, Nikanorivka, Dorozhnie, Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Serhiivka, Kamianka, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, and Novopidhorodne, with three combat engagements ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, three assaults by the occupiers took place in the areas of Voskresenka, Oleksandrohrad, and Piddubne, with one battle ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of Dobropillia, Hirke, Tsvitkove, and Vozdvyzhivka, with one combat engagement ongoing.
In the Kupiansk, Kramatorsk, and Prydniprovskyi directions, no attempts by the enemy to advance were recorded. In other directions, no significant changes in the situation are currently occurring.
Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat contact and in the rear.
