The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported a series of cyberattacks on Russian state and private structures, disabling communications equipment, hacking government systems and destroying server infrastructure, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, UNN reports.

According to the report, DIU specialists and activists of the BO Team group carried out a series of cyberattacks on the facilities of the Russian aggressor state.
Not only Russian state structures, but also private entities that pay taxes and finance the war against Ukraine are under attack, the DIU added.
During the week of March 11-18, 2024, as indicated:
● rostelecom's resources were attacked - communication equipment in the zabaikalsky and krasnoyarsky regions of the russian Federation was disabled;
● access was gained to the electronic document management system of the Belgorod regional government, and fake mailings were sent to 12,000 local officials;
● the communication equipment of Belznak LLC was attacked and disabled;
● The information resources of the "municipal budgetary institution Starooskolsk city multi-industry production association of communal services" were attacked and destroyed;
● The infrastructure of CJSC Tommoloko was attacked and destroyed;
● the server infrastructure was seized and destroyed, along with backups of the 1Gb.ru hosting provider and tens of thousands of websites it served;
● more than 40 Mikrotik network devices were disabled at the city's municipal electric transport management center in novosibirsk.
"The damage inflicted on the enemy can amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars," the intelligence noted.
"Attacks on Russia in cyberspace continue," the DIU emphasized.
