Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,020 Russian military personnel, and destroyed dozens of units of the occupiers' equipment and weapons. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU, UNN reports.

According to the General Staff, the total combat losses of the Russian army from February 24, 2022, to May 12, 2026, approximately amount to 1,343,050 military personnel.
Losses suffered by the Russian army
During the day, the Ukrainian military also destroyed:
- 2 tanks;
- 2 armored fighting vehicles;
- 72 artillery systems;
- 2 multiple launch rocket systems;
- 1,252 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles;
- 145 units of motor vehicles and tankers;
- 2 ground robotic systems;
- 1 unit of special equipment.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost 11,926 tanks, 24,553 armored fighting vehicles, 41,935 artillery systems, and 285,506 UAVs.
The General Staff added that data on enemy losses are being clarified.
