The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 56 combat engagements took place over the day, UNN reports.
Within the last day, 56 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 1 missile and 81 air strikes, including with Shahed-136/131 attack drones, and fired 37 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities .
The General Staff added that the Russian terrorist attacks unfortunately resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential and apartment buildings, other civilian and industrial infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
Russian occupants also attacked Ukraine once again today, using 10 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Ukrainian defenders destroyed 9 enemy drones.
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult, the General Staff summarized.
