Ukrainian forces allegedly shelled power lines in the Kursk region, leaving five settlements without electricity.

In the Russian Kursk region, a number of settlements were left without electricity. According to the Russian Telegram channel Mash, the power outage is due to the shelling of power lines, which was probably carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, UNN reports.

Details

According to Mash, five settlements in the Kursk region were left without electricity "as a result of the shelling of power lines in the village of Neonilovka by the Ukrainian Armed Forces." These are approximately 350 residential buildings and more than 1000 people. Most of them have gas boilers that operate without electricity.

"The villages of Neonilivka, Khodiykove and Dronivka are still freezing and sitting in the dark. About 700 people live there. Emergency crews are not in a hurry to restore the power supply for fear of coming under fire. They promise to restore the power by tomorrow morning," the Telegram channel said.
