According to the deputy head of the Sumy district council, four Chechen battalions are concentrated 150-200 kilometers from the border with Sumy region.

Deputy Chairman of Sumy District Council Volodymyr Bitsak said that there is information that four Chechen battalions have concentrated at a distance of 150-200 kilometers from the border with Sumy region. He said this on Monday, April 29, on the air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels, reports UNN

"There is some preliminary information that four battalions of Chechens have arrived somewhere at a distance of 150-200 kilometers (from the border with Sumy region - ed.).  But we know from the previous two years of war that they only know how to fight with telephones. Therefore, I believe that it will be for "show off", to come to the border, take photos, maximum a subversive group," said Volodymyr Bitsak.

Bitsak urged Sumy residents not to panic, as the Ukrainian military and volunteer groups are ready to defend the region in case of emergency.

AddendumAddendum

As UNN wrote , the enemy does not stop conducting its subversive activities on the border with Russia - the most active area is still Sumy region. The other day, Ukrainian defenders repelled another attempt by an enemy subversive reconnaissance group
