A man who was trying to get to Moldova by swimming was detected by border guards. He was hiding from law enforcement officers in the reeds. Now the man faces administrative liability and a fine. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

In the reeds, the 31-year-old Vinnytsia resident was just waiting, and then planned to continue the swim to the Transnistrian region of Moldova.
He planned his trip in advance, even taking care of the waterproofing of his documents and personal belongings.
The offender was brought to administrative responsibility. In addition, he faces a fine for violating the rules of the border regime.
