At night, enemy drones attacked energy facilities in Dnipropetrovska oblast. No electricity shortages are expected as the power system is operating in a balanced mode.

In the Dnipropetrovs'k region, as a result of an attack by enemy UAVs, the overhead lines of NPC Ukrenergo were disconnected. In Zaporizhzhia region , industrial enterprises were briefly cut off from power. The power system is operating in a balanced manner. UNN reports this with reference to Ukrenergo and the Ministry of Energy.

At night, Russians again targeted energy infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovs'k region. During the night, a UAV attack and artillery shelling damaged some equipment at one of the substations and cut off power to two 330 kV main lines

- Ukrenergo said in a statement.

As a result, the backup power supply scheme of Zaporizhzhya NPP was taken offline. Repair crews have now restored the operation of one 330 kV line, the power engineers assured.

In addition, an attack by an enemy UAV in Zaporizhzhia region resulted in a short-term power outage at industrial enterprises.

Generation

There are 7 nuclear power units, thermal, hydro, and renewable energy facilities. Commercial imports and minor exports of electricity are planned.

"The situation is under control. The system is balanced," the Ministry of Energy said.

Overcoming the consequences of shelling

The consequences of the massive hostile attack on energy facilities on the night of March 22 are reportedly being overcome.  The most difficult situation remains in Kharkiv region.

In Khmelnytskyi region, there are still power outages and repair works are underway. In Odesa region, hourly outage schedules have been applied.

Within 24 hours, power supply to consumers was fully restored in Dnipropetrovska oblast.

Import and export

For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 12,784 MWh. Exports of up to 1033 MWh are also expected.
