American billionaire Elon Musk, speaking to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu live on X (formerly Twitter), said that he had "no choice" but to destroy the Hamas terrorist group in order to ensure a better future for Gaza. This was reported by The Times of Israel, according to UNN.

"If you want security, peace and a better life for the people of Gaza, you need to destroy Hamas. First, you need to get rid of the toxic regime, as was done in Germany and Japan," Netanyahu said, to which Musk replied: "There is no choice."
Musk also noted that civilian casualties are "inevitable" and that Israel is trying to avoid them in its war with Hamas.
"We need to combine firmness, destroying terrorists and those who intend to kill, and at the same time helping those who are left behind, which is what happened in Germany and Japan," he added.
The owner of Company X and head of SpaceX said he would like to help rebuild the Gaza Strip after the war.
According to him, the reconstruction of the territory is an important step to prevent future wars. "Usually the winner punishes the loser," Musk said, pointing to the rebuilding of Germany and Japan by the Allies after World War II as an example of how reconstruction efforts after the war helped ensure peace for a long period of time.
