Electricity consumption in Ukraine has stabilized today and remains at a level that is in line with seasonal indicators. Due to bad weather, 104 settlements in 5 regions are without electricity. This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo on Wednesday, UNN reports.

Today, on December 18, as of 7:00 a.m., the level of electricity consumption was the same as on the previous day, Tuesday.
Yesterday, December 17, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning. It was 2.5% higher than the previous day's maximum on Monday, December 16. This is due to the non-application of restrictive measures, Ukrenergo noted.
"As the Ukrainian power grid continues to recover from 12 massive Russian attacks since the beginning of this year, it still has a significant power deficit. To overcome it, today from 7:00 to 20:00, power limitation schedules for industry and business are applied. From 8:00 to 20:00 today, the need to conserve electricity remains. Please do not use several powerful electrical appliances at the same time during this period," the company said.
Bad weather
As of this morning, 104 settlements in five regions - Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr and Chernivtsi - are without power supply due to severe weather conditions (rain and strong winds). Repair crews of the regional power companies are working to repair the damage. The power supply is expected to be restored by the end of the day.
