Due to strikes by the Defense Forces of Ukraine on ferry infrastructure, the occupiers have lost some fuel supply routes. Restoration of rail transportation via the Kerch Bridge is being considered.

The occupation authorities of Crimea are considering the possibility of resuming rail transportation of fuel across the Kerch Bridge due to problems with supplying the peninsula with fuel. This is reported by UNN with reference to the partisan movement "ATESH".

Details

According to movement agents, the issue is being discussed in the operational headquarters of the occupation administration of Crimea. The reason was serious difficulties with the supply of fuel and lubricants after strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the ferry infrastructure in Kerch and the port of "Kavkaz".

The occupiers have lost part of their supply routes

ATESH notes that the possibilities for delivering fuel across the Kerch Strait have significantly decreased. In addition, logistics through the so-called land corridor in the occupied territories of southern Ukraine are becoming increasingly difficult.

After the attacks, almost half of occupied Crimea was left without power23.06.26, 23:59

According to the partisans, Russian military acknowledge that the main supply routes are under constant fire control of Ukrainian drones. This makes fuel transportation slow, difficult, and risky.

The Kerch Bridge was previously considered too dangerous

The movement recalled that after strikes on the Kerch Bridge in 2022, 2023, and 2025, the Russian authorities effectively abandoned the transportation of fuel across this crossing. Due to damage and operational restrictions, the route was considered too dangerous for fuel tankers.

According to ATESH's assessment, the occupiers are now forced to consider using the Kerch Bridge as one of the last relatively reliable fuel supply routes after losing a significant portion of ferry capabilities and the complication of logistics through the occupied territories.

After the night attack in Crimea and the port of "Kavkaz", several fire hotspots were recorded23.06.26, 07:00
