"There was a lot of explosions. Machine-gun fire from time to time, sounds of downed missiles," an eyewitness said of the UAV attack in Novoshakhtynsk, where a fire broke out at the refinery.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that 84 unmanned aerial vehicles were "destroyed" by its air defense system overnight: 36 - over the territory of Rostov region, 21 - over the territory of Bryansk region, 14 - over the territory of Belgorod region, six - over the territory of Voronezh region, three - over the territory of Kursk and Tambov regions and one - over the territory of Krasnodar region.
