Representatives of the Ecumenical Patriarchate have arrived in Ukraine. The delegation will meet with the authorities and church leaders to find ways of understanding between the Orthodox of Ukraine, the Stavropegion of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine reported on August 21, UNN writes.

"Following the communication between representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine and His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, a delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate arrived in Ukraine," the Stavropegion said in a Facebook post.
The delegation included Archbishop Hilarion of Winnipeg, Metropolitan Ilarion of the UOC of Canada, Metropolitan Job of Pisidia, and Patriarchal Deacon Epiphanius Kamianovych.
"The arrival of the same delegation was planned last year, but for unforeseen technical reasons its visit was postponed," the stauropegion noted.
The delegation will reportedly "take part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine's independence and meet with representatives of state authorities and church leaders.
Particular attention will be paid to finding ways of understanding between the Orthodox of Ukraine and dialogue to achieve unity in the church issue
On August 21, immediately after arriving in Kyiv, members of the delegation reportedly visited the Stavropegion of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Ukraine, St. Andrew's Church, where they served a short prayer service for Ukraine's victory, the courageous Ukrainian people and church peace in Ukraine.
