The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at 40.5458 UAH/USD, which strengthened the hryvnia by 21 kopecks, UNN reports with reference to the NBU.

The official dollar exchange rate is 40.54 UAH/USD. The NBU also set the official euro exchange rate to the hryvnia at 43.78 UAH/€.
According to the data on specialized websites, as of 9:15 am:
- The dollar can be bought for UAH 41.00 and sold for UAH 40.60 in banks.
- Euros can be bought for UAH 44.20 and sold for UAH 43.65 in banks.
- In exchange offices, the dollar is traded at UAH 40.79-40.88, and the euro at UAH 44.10-44.25.
- On the interbank market, the exchange rates are 40.49-40.51 UAH/USD for the dollar and 43.74-43.75 UAH/€ for the euro, respectively.

NBU Governor Andriy Pyshny said that Ukrainians' confidence in the national currency has strengthened. Despite the war, the NBU has managed to reverse the downward trend in household time deposits.
