As of today, the National Bank has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at 39.0201 UAH/USD, which strengthened it by 17 kopecks, UNN reports with reference to the NBU.
Details
The official dollar exchange rate is 39.02 UAH/USD. The NBU has also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate at 42.34 UAH/€. According to data on specialized websites, as of 9:10 am:
- The dollar can be bought for UAH 39.50 and sold for UAH 39.05 in banks.
- Euros can be bought for UAH 42.90 and sold for UAH 42.27 in banks.
- In exchange offices, the dollar is traded at UAH 39.27-39.37, and the euro at UAH 42.75-42.95.
- On the interbank market, the exchange rates are 38.96-39.01 UAH/USD for the dollar and 42.35-42.39 UAH/€ for the euro, respectively.

Since the beginning of 2024, the hryvnia has devalued by 3.3% against the US dollar due to increased government spending, international aid inflows, and the end of the annual corporate income tax period, but the National Bank of Ukraine continues to actively participate in the market to ensure exchange rate stabilityand the attractiveness of hryvnia assets.
