Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine received a free license to use the innovative product eyesCloud3D. Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, told what this technology is and how it will improve the recording of Russia's war crimes in a commentary to UNN.

Details

According to him, EyesCloud3D is an innovative product that allows you to create three-dimensional models of objects and surfaces.

This technology uses photogrammetry, which allows for measurements in three dimensions and volume calculations using images captured by any type of camera. This makes it possible to document all the circumstances at the scene with great accuracy and conduct a detailed analysis of the data obtained. In addition, it is important that the original information can be repeatedly accessed at any time. For example, the circumstances at the scene of the Russian missile attacks remain available for analysis even after the consequences have been eliminated,

- explained Oleksandr Ruvin.

The Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise emphasized that the work of Ukrainian experts must comply with the standards of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutions. This guarantees the high quality and reliability of the research conducted, which is critical for a fair investigation and trial. And the use of innovative products such as eyesCloud3D helps ensure compliance with these standards.

The use of modern technologies, such as eyesCloud3D, is an important step towards improving forensic science in Ukraine. It improves the quality of research, but also contributes to fairness and justice, which is the foundation of a democratic society. The use of innovative methods allows Ukrainian experts to more effectively combat crime and ensure a fair trial,

- summarized the Director of KFI.
