Diya has launched a car re-registration service that will allow buying and selling cars online, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said on Wednesday, UNN reports.

According to the official, the process has become much more transparent, and the checking of cars and users is automatic - without the participation of an administrator. This removes the human factor and corruption risks.
According to him, re-registering a car in Diia is "easy, almost like ordering a delivery."
"The seller generates a link or QR code in Diia; the buyer scans it; agrees to the terms and conditions; chooses the number and version of the technical passport: plastic and electronic certificate in Diia or only the electronic certificate. By the way, you can leave the old numbers or order new ones," said Fedorov.
According to him, you can order the physical data sheet and number at a Ukrposhta branch. "The service center will check the contract. After successful verification, you will be able to sign it and then exchange money and a car. At the first stage, the service is available for cars, motorcycles and mopeds," he said.
The official noted that more than a million Ukrainians buy or sell cars every year. Previously, they had to go to the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, stand in lines and buy "runners", wait for payment to the bank and pay a commission.
"During the testing of the service, 65 cars have already been re-registered in Diia. Buy and sell cars online, share feedback, and we continue to provide services in two clicks," he said.
