At today's meeting, the Verkhovna Rada supported in the first reading a bill to regulate the purchase of housing using a housing certificate from the Diia app. UNN reports this with reference to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Draft law No. 10208 on improving the legal regulation of issues related to the prohibition of alienation of real estate acquired using a housing certificate for housing destroyed by war was adopted as a basis. FOR - 240

- Zheleznyak wrote on Telegram.

According to him, in particular, the draft law creates legal grounds for:

- transfer by the recipient of compensation to the mortgage of housing purchased/acquired using a housing certificate in order to ensure the fulfillment of their obligations at the expense of such housing;

- empowering recipients of compensation to meet their housing needs by attracting credit funds to pay the difference in the cost of housing;

- foreclosure on housing purchased using a housing certificate.

Appendix

According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal,  the Diia app has already generated more than a thousand housing certificates worth UAH 2.3 billion. People will soon be able to use them.

As a reminder

Earlier UNN reported that Ukraine announced the unification of a voucher for renovated housing and a mortgage. Ukrainians will be able to use the "eRestoration" certificate as an advance payment for "eHouse."
