Today, tactical military exercises will begin in several regions of belarus, during which live firing will take place. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense of belarus, UNN reports.

From April 9 to 11, a brigade tactical exercise with live firing will take place as part of a comprehensive inspection of the combat readiness of the Armed Forces. (...) The exercise will take place at training grounds and terrain in Vitebsk, Hrodna, Brest and Mohyla regions

It is noted that the units will be practicing:
- repelling an attack by a conventional enemy;
- destruction of illegal armed groups, sabotage and reconnaissance groups;
- defeating the enemy's advanced units;
- fire support for troops.
The agency noted that this is the key stage of the combat readiness test, which will assess the units' ability to perform their assigned tasks in various conditions.

The spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, said in a commentary to a UNN journalist that there are currently no signs of a build-up of Russian strike groups on the territory of belarus.
