The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) spent almost 100,000 hryvnias on a trip to Croatia to personally inspect the seized yacht of former MP-traitor Viktor Medvedchuk. This trip, as claimed by ARMA, was to become "key" for the successful realization of the asset. However, despite the expenses and stated intentions, the yacht was still not sold, writes UNN.

Interestingly, the visit of the ARMA delegation took place three months before the expiration of the maximum term of the yacht's arrest in Croatia - February 26-29, 2024. Didn't the agency's management understand at that time that it was not necessary to organize inspections, but to make maximum efforts to sell the yacht? It seems not. After all, as reported by ARMA in response to the request of UNN, it was this trip of the agency's employees that gave a big impetus to the possibility of realizing the arrested asset. Apparently, so big that the yacht is still not sold.

After all, copies of documents that were seized during the search of the yacht and stored by the national police of the city of Split were transferred to the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine at the request of ARMA. They play an important role in the criminal proceedings against the traitor and collaborator Medvedchuk... The total amount spent by the agency on the business trip: 91,433.98 hryvnias

 - explained ARMA in response to the request.

But the expenses are not the main thing. The main thing is that the ARMA trip was so successful that the yacht was not sold.

We should not forget that the head of ARMA, Olena Duma, prepared changes to the legislation for the realization of foreign assets for almost half a year, which effectively made it impossible to sell Medvedchuk's yacht. Later, there were also these inspections in Croatia.

All this looks like a classic delaying of the process, for which ARMA specialists spend a considerable amount of money. Is the agency consciously doing everything possible to make the sale of assets impossible? There are fewer and fewer doubts, and the result is the same. Zero.

We add

Political scientist Viktor Bobyrenko believes that the delay in the sale of Medvedchuk's yacht by the head of ARMA, Olena Duma, cannot be just ordinary negligence, such actions could have been motivated by financial reward.
