Police in Lutsk district are investigating the circumstances of an accident involving three trucks. It is known that the driver of a MAN drove into a Volvo trailer, after which he drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Ural timber truck. This was reported by the National Police in Volyn region, UNN reports.
The accident happened yesterday, April 18, on the highway in the village of Trostyanets. A 46-year-old resident of Lutsk district, driving a MAN truck, probably did not choose a safe speed, collided with the trailer of a Volvo, drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a URAL logging truck driven by a 38-year-old resident of the Kolkivska community

As a result of the accident, both drivers and a 14-year-old passenger of the URAL truck were injured. In particular, the logging truck driver was hospitalized.
The driver of the Volvo was not injured.
Criminal proceedings were opened over the accident. It is a violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport, which caused serious bodily injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
