Amazon, Microsoft, and Google will close access to their cloud services for russian users starting March 20, 2024. This is reported by Softline, according to UNN.
Amazon, Microsoft, and Google have announced that they will suspend access to their cloud services for users located in russia.
This decision was made in the context of the 12th EU sanctions package, which entered into force on December 19, 2023.
According to the information, this package of sanctions restricts the supply of business intelligence (BI) software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other products to russia.
Consequently, russians will not be able to use these cloud services or access data in them starting from March 20, 2024.
In light of these events, Softline recommends that you back up your data related to all Microsoft, Amazon, and Google cloud products as soon as possible to avoid complete or partial loss of information.
