71.78% of students who have completed a bachelor's degree continue their studies to obtain a second degree, which goes beyond European indicators.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science, UNN writes.
Details
71.78% of bachelors chose to continue their education at the second level of higher education or to obtain another specialty at lower levels of higher education. This high rate, which exceeds European standards, indicates that the 2019 bachelors are not sufficiently prepared for the labor market and that there is a lack of jobs that would be attractive to young professionals.
The share of employed and conditionally employed persons with different levels of higher education is 46.18%, which is lower than the 58.96% recorded in 2021.
Among specialists, the highest employment rate is 89.95%, which is also up from 71.72% in 2021.
The lowest employment rates are observed among bachelors, who have only 36.27% of employment compared to 50.26% in 2021.
There was also a decline in employment among masters and junior specialists, where the percentage was 50.04% (vs. 61.21% in 2021) and 42.48% (vs. 59.77% in 2021), respectively.
At first glance, there is a tendency for employment rates to decrease, while a more detailed comparative analysis of the relevant indicators of the 2022 and 2021 monitoring shows a decrease in the relevant indicator only for the position "Employed, including conditionally employed, among the MoD, which is due to the improvement of algorithms for calculating the conditional employment of monitored persons in terms of calculating length of service, namely, the comparison and consideration of employment records in the period between the completion of education
Recall
According to the Ministry of Education and Science's monitoring, the highest employment rates are in law and public administration, and the lowest are in software engineering and maritime transport.
