Members of the Abkhazian parliament have voted to resign President Aslan Bzhania, BBC reports UNN.
Details
It was a secret ballot vote, with 28 MPs voting in favor, one against, and two ballots being invalidated.
At night it became known that Bjania had agreed to resign on the condition that Vice President Badra Gunba would take his place before the elections and that protesters against the ratification of the investment agreement would leave the government complex.
The parliament and presidential administration buildings were occupied last week, demanding Bzhaniy's resignation.
