According to law enforcement, on June 7, a 20-year-old acquaintance approached the 24-year-old resident of Rivne and received an offer from a Russian telegram channel to "make some money": for a certain amount of money, he had to burn the military's cars.
The National Police pointed out that in this way Russian propaganda is trying to make it look like Ukrainians do not support their own army.
They were promised two thousand dollars for their "work". The criminals resorted to tricks, and the next day they found the "victim" - an ordinary civilian Audi car. To pass it off as a military vehicle, they repainted the license plates black.
Then, at about 8 p.m. on June 8, they doused the car with a flammable substance and set it on fire in the garage cooperative in the regional center, where it was parked. However, they received only two thousand hryvnias for the work they had been promised by the enemy
The police identified the 24-year-old offender and detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine, he has already been served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
