A GAZ truck collided with an Iveco truck at an intersection with Kyiv's northeastern bypass road in Boryspil district, killing one of the drivers, the Kyiv regional police reported on Tuesday, UNN reported.

The accident occurred on April 1, at the intersection with the North-Eastern Bypass of Kyiv.
"It has been preliminarily established that the 43-year-old driver of a GAZ car failed to give way and collided with an Iveco truck. The driver of the GAZ died on the spot from his injuries, while the 56-year-old driver of the other car was hospitalized with injuries," the police said.
As can be seen in the published photos, one of the trucks rolled over on its side.
Investigators of the Kyiv Police Investigation Department launched a pre-trial investigation into this fact (Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
