Air defense systems operated in Cherkasy region overnight, destroying a cruise missile and another unidentified target, as well as another air target, causing a fire of dry vegetation, damage to power lines and broken windows in houses, said Igor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy RMA, on Friday, UNN reported.

According to him, they also mined another enemy target there - its type is being established. In both cases, it was without consequences.
"According to preliminary information, our defenders destroyed another air target in the sky over Zolotonosha. As a result, dry vegetation caught fire. The fire was extinguished by local crews. A power line and windows of at least nine private houses were also damaged," said Taburets.
The survey of the territory continues. Relevant services are working, he said.
