The body of a 69-year-old Ternopil resident who disappeared the day before was found in the Seret River in the village of Butsniv, Ternopil region, the regional State Emergency Service reported, UNN reports.

"Tragic incident on the Seret River. On August 1, the operational dispatch service received a report that the body of a 69-year-old Ternopil resident who had disappeared the day before had been found without signs of life in the Seret River near the village of Butsniv, Ternopil district," the statement reads.
The rescuers who arrived at the scene removed the body from the water and handed it over to the police.
